A Chhattisgarh Armed Pressure (CAF) personnel allegedly opened hearth at his colleagues in Narayanpur district of the state, killing two of them on the spot and injuring one other one, police stated on Saturday. The incident passed off on Friday evening in a camp of the CAF’s ninth battalion at Aamdai Ghati beneath Chhotedongar police station limits, positioned round 350 km from capital Raipur, inspector common of police (Bastar vary) Sundarraj P stated.
“Assistant platoon commander Ghanshyam Kumeti opened hearth from his AK-47 rifle, killing two personnel and injuring one other, following some dispute with them,” he stated.
Platoon commander Bindeshwar Sahani and head constable Rameshwar Sahu have been killed within the incident, whereas one other platoon commander Lachhuram Premi sustained accidents, he stated.
Kumeti has been arrested, the senior official stated, including that the injured man was airlifted to Raipur and was present process therapy at a personal hospital, he stated.
The personnel concerned within the incident belonged to ‘B’ firm of CAF’s ninth battalion, he added.
